I wonder sometimes........

      Sometimes I wonder.

With Christmas coming up I have started to
wonder about that very first Christmas day.
These are some of my questions I ask myself:

How warm or cold was it?

How did Mary feel when she looked down at her baby.
Did she see her little boy or did she see the
     Son of God?

What about those shepards? They were scared
when the angels appeared to them, but what
      must it have been like?

How was Joseph feeling when Jesus was born?

Did the sky look like it does now -- 'cept
      for that one star?

Did the people around Mary realize
that her baby was the Son of God?
or was He just another baby being born?

Wonder about Mary's and Joseph's families
if they knew or understood what was happening?

The Wise Men weren't there that night but
how did they know and how did they feel
when they were traveling to find Jesus?

Why do we always picture angels with wings?
Does the Bible say they have them?
When they appeared to the shepherds were
they on the ground like regular people? In the sky?

Do we really know when (date, month) of when
      Jesus was born?

      What do you wonder?

I read somewhere a long time ago that they believe Jesus was born around March.
Those are all really interesting questions.

I wonder if the earth almost stood still for that moment...God was watching his son being born....a son for his other children....If we had cameras..surely, the universe did something...-Raven
